SEPTEMBER’S CLUB NIGHT at THE PELICAN, Chew Magna Thursday 16th September, 2010 (at 8:00 pm in the upstairs room) NEW MEMBERS EVENING & PHOTOGRAPHIC COMPETITION The bar at our new venue is at ground level, but our new club room is at the top of the steps just off the courtyard. New members please come along and make yourselves known and meet other members - you will be assured of a warm welcome! The Photographic Competition will take the same format as previous years: CLASS A: Best Photograph taken on a Club event during 2010. (The winner will receive the John Carlton Trophy). CLASS B: Open Competition - Best Motoring Photograph (taken on any occasion, at any time). *Bottles of wine to be won!*

Signing-on is at the Hunters Rest, Clutton (signposted from the Chelwood roundabout on the A37) from 10:00am, for a start from 10:30am onwards. Arrival at Yarlington will be about 1:30pm, after a 50 to 60 mile run. Lunch is at 2:00pm. Fancy dress is not compulsory, but we will be giving mystery prizes for the best couple, best individual and most original costumes. As usual, this run is supported by the legacy that William left to the Club. This means that entrants get very good value for money. Breakfast will be available at the start for those who want it and there will be a two-course meal at the finish at around 2:00pm.
