MOTORING AT THE MANOR: Part of the Celtic Manor
Weekend of Sport & Speed – Sunday June 16th, 2019
Motoring at the Manor is a new lifestyle motoring event that will take place on June 16th at the Celtic Manor Resort, Coldra Woods, Newport. The event will offer two separate identities within its area – a static display on the Polo Field, split into five distinct areas, showing rally cars, super cars, racing cars and classic cars, with each zone grouped around the exclusive Concours d’ Elegance in the centre, plus a demonstration road alongside which includes the famous bridge over the the River Usk. There will be a retail village, a stage allowing both musical entertainment and interviews with motoring personalities, plus we hope to add a ‘big screen’ to allow live transmission from Le Mans.
The C&H has a stand for 15 cars booked, which promises to be a spectacular new show. We have obtained 30 tickets, so that’s two per car. The cost will be £33 per car, payable in advance to C&H Motor Club Ltd, but first we need to know who is interested in going. So the first 15 e-mails that I receive at my e-address: p_r_dickinson@sky.com after May’s edition of Classix goes out will get tickets. Payment after will be sorted after we know who is going.
All vehicles must be on site by 9:00 am and will have to remain on site until 6:00 pm
