Return Visit to LA & RW Piper
Car Trimmers & Furniture Upholsterers

Pipers are specialist car trimmers and often have some very interesting cars in their workshops. In addition they are furniture upholsterers, which may be of more interest to the ladies! They have recently moved into their large, new facility adjacent to the old site we visited last year.
We propose to meet first for coffee/tea and biscuits at the Isle of Wedmore Golf Club, Lineage, Wedmore, BS28 4QT, from 9:30 – 10:30am. For this there is a charge of £2 per person (please pay Mike McLennan on the day).
We then propose to take a leisurely 25-mile route to Pipers, where once again we will be supplied with coffee/tea and cake.
NOTE: Larry Piper has requested that we do not arrive before 11:30am. (Please bear this in mind if you prefer to travel directly to Pipers). It is anticipated that we will be there for approximately 1½ hours.
Following our visit to Pipers, we will be free to make our own arrangements for lunch. The Haynes International Motor Museum is nearby, where lunch can be purchased in the cafeteria. Alternatively, there are several pubs and diners in the vicinity.
