The club have again been approached by Winfield Lodge care home in Bath, we visited last year, and have been asked if we would visit again with 6 – 7 cars to give some of the residents a bit of a treat. I have agreed a date and time with the wellbeing co-ordinator of Friday 13th June at 2pm.
We are looking for 6 – 7 volunteers, with cars, so if you can offer to support this event please email julian.barber@hotmail.co.uk. Last year we stopped for an informal pre-visit light lunch at the Charlcombe Inn, Lansdown (Formerly the Bathway Arms) and were then treated to tea and a large selection of magnificent cakes at the care home later in the day.
