HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Well let’s hope it gets better anyway…..as this is written we are just about to go into another country wide lock down….but fingers + toes crossed that by Spring we may have some freedoms again(??).
That being the case, the C&H are planning The Alternative Mendip run on 23rd May – but this will be subject to any Government guidance that is in place – the event is being designed to be “Covid Secure” in any case, but that will depend on what restrictions are in place at the time. The complications and ever shifting requirements make it very difficult for the club to put on a safe, socially responsible event. All of our events have to be planned months in advance so it makes it extremely difficult and very time consuming to make the right decisions and arrangements which can then suddenly then found to be out of date when Government advice changes.
The Club Committee continues to monitor the ongoing Covid-19 situation and will advise here as soon as any changes that effect the club become apparent.
