July 2021 Update

Not a huge amount new news this month – but coming up fast is The Mendip Alternative which replaces the ever popular Mendip Tour this year.  As it currently stands, the event is full – but there is a Reserve list open – please contact the club if you are interested….

Closely following that is The Big Breakfast – which is also into Reserve list status – such is the demand for members to be able to get their classic’s out!

The first weekend of July sees the MEMORIAL WALK IN MEMORY OF KEVIN FORD as posted here earlier in June – whilst not an official club event, it will celebrate the life of one of the club’s best loved members who was taken from us far too early – here is the information again from his family:

Due to Covid restrictions at the time of his funeral we were unable to invite many of you to celebrate Kevin’s life. Hopefully as Covid restrictions are due to be lifted in June – and to mark the 1 year anniversary of his passing – we are planning a Memorial walk on Saturday 3rd July. Everyone is invited to join and help us celebrate Kevin – we will be meeting at 9:30 am at Bitton Railway Station on the cycle path for a short walk/cycle/run/crawl if you fancy it, to Warmly Waiting Rooms, with a coffee and cake break in the middle before heading back. It would be good to know roughly how many people are coming before the day – but you can just turn up.

We have been passed information for a new classic car magazine that is coming out soon – it looks pretty interesting for all those who love 1960s – 1990s cars – more information can be found at https://classicretromodern.com
