So the Mendip Tour filled in record time this year – as of the 19th February it was full. There is a reserve list now open and this list is already quite large! We are really looking forward to the 30th Anniversary of the mendip Tour on 17th May!
In other news, the club’s rules are currently being updated to bring them up to date in terms of eligibility for voting (using email etc) and for voting rights at club meetings. The main big change being proposed is the changing of the age criteria for cars in the club from the current 30 years old, to a proposed 25 year rule. It is hoped that this will help sustain the club’s future and increase the membership with some younger members. It is important for all club members to come along to the club’s AGM on 22 March to help support the club through these rule updates.
There are some new events in the Calendar for this year now, including more details about Drive It Day (DiD) on 26th April (entries open now!). Don’t forget you can get your rally plates HERE for DiD to help support NSPCC Childline – and show your support for DiD generally!
