The Market Lavington Vintage Meet Family Fun Weekend in aid of Wiltshire Air Ambulance and local community projects
Location: The Elisha Field Drove Lane, Market Lavington, SN10 4NT on the weekend of 16th & 17th July. This popular event in aid of Wiltshire Air Ambulance and local community projects will have displays of vintage and classic cars/vans/motorcycles/commercial and tractors, military vehicles, stationary engines, miniature & full-size steam engines and miniature train for kids to ride on. There will also be living history, demonstrations, trade stalls, entertainment, arena events including, falconry and dog show demonstrations, a Fun Dog Show on the Sunday, amusements and activities for the whole family to enjoy. There will be a variety of food outlets and the usual beer tent. We have also applied for a flypast by the RAF Red Arrows and/or the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight (subject to confirmation).
The Spitfire Scramble! April 30 to May 1, 2022
| A unique two day event that promises one lucky participant will win a passenger flight in a Spitfire*. Based at Sywell Aerodrome our new Spitfire Scramble Rally includes two days of regularity and tests from the Art Deco setting of Sywell. At the end of the event all the names of the participants will be put into a flying hat and the dramatic draw will take place during the prize giving. With the rally limited to 30 cars you have a great chance of winning this incredible flight. This event is for Vintage, Classic and Post Classic vehicles up to 1999 |
