Castle Combe Autumn Classic 2018

Saturday 6th October 2018

With its 67 year history, Castle Combe Circuit has always provided tried and trusted motor sport entertainment. But in 2012, a simple idea for a “Classic” themed meeting proved to be one of its best, now hailed by many as one of the best historic racing events of the year.

The seven races present a mixture from Vintage sports cars to sixties single-seaters in the shape of the popular Formula Juniors.  New for 2018, the Autumn Classic Challenge, presented by the Castle Combe Racing Club will feature a Historic Touring car race, not to be missed. Returning to the 2018 Autumn Classic is the GT and Sports Car Cup for pre-1966 GT and pre 1963 Sports cars, while the crowd-pleasing Healey International’s, joining the pre-66 Jaguars and a huge grid of 1950s sports cars for the Fiscar Inter-marque race.

Last year the C&H moved to a bigger pitch such was the demand for spaces on the club display – so this year we are sticking with the same place and have reserved a display area for a maximum of 30 cars. As last year, the tickets available through the C&H are discounted from gate prices and come with a display pass for our track side display area. All passengers in a car will require their own tickets (not children).

Note that full payment for these must be received by Wednesday 29th August (cheques payble to Castle Combe Circuit please) so that the tickets can be obtained in advance:

Adult car club ticket £15 (price on the gate £20)

Senior Citizen car club ticket £10 (price on the gate £15)

Children under 16 are free when accompanied by an adult.

We only have a display area for 30 cars maximum reserved and its first come first served. There are no forms to fill in, just send a cheque for the right amount (payable to C&H), plus contact details and details of the car you are bringing – and an SAE  to Steve Burridge – see address inside the front cover of the Classix magazine. The tickets will be posted out on receipt from Castle Combe, usually a couple of weeks before the event.

If you are interested, don’t delay – do it today!!
