This year sees the 25th Anniversary of The Mendip Vintage and Classic Tour, so come along and help us celebrate a landmark event for the C&H!

We have space for 160 cars this year and note that all cars need to be at least 30 years old to be eligible to enter. The event will fill up fast – you have been warned!

NOTE: Classic & Historic Motor Club members can enter from the beginning of January, then from 1st  February the Tour will be open to non-members.

The Start

The venue for the start this year is Whitehall Garden Centre, Whitchurch near Bristol. The cars will start arriving to park up from around 08-30am, with the first car waved off from the start at 09-30. The rest of the 160 cars will then leave in age order at approximately 30 second intervals.

The Lunch Stop

To make the 25th Anniversary as special as possible, we have booked the prestigious Ston Easton Park Hotel as the venue for the lunch stop. Cars arriving from about 11-45am, and then start to depart for the finish from around 1-15pm.

The Finish

The Mendip Tour always concludes  with a fantastic display on The Cathedral Green in Wells, with the cars arriving at the finish from about 2-30pm where the entrants can enjoy a well earned cream tea. Trophies and prizes are awarded from about 4-00pm.

Our nominated charity in 2019 will again be Macmillan Cancer Support, who last year were able to raise over £1,800 through their collections and a large donation from the Classic and Historic Motor Club, Mendip Tour funds.
