Lunchtime classic meet ups at The Pear Tree Whitley

Mid-week Meetings in the New Year !

at The Pear Tree, Whitley, SN12 8QX

THURSDAY 19th January, 2023 (from 12:30 pm)

(IMPORTANT – Please book your food!)

Happy New Year!

After a glorious November, when the weather was lovely for our meet-up, the weather for December was ghastly with most members staying at home and stoking their coal fires!

The next meeting is Thursday 19th January and I hope the weather will be better then, but even if it’s poor it would still be nice for people to meet up and have a chat. (I’m afraid I am away, but will definitely be at the February meeting).

The West Wilts Classic Car Meeting is something nice to look forward during these dreary winter months. Where you can brave it in with your classic or bring something modern, it doesn’t matter. The important thing is to get out and chat with like minded friends. Since its inception in summer 2021 the distribution list has now grown to over 100 people.

Now the clocks have changed we move to a lunchtime meetup on a Thursday as sadly I can’t do a Wednesday. Our venue stays the same at the wonderful Pear Tree, hosted by the lovely Jackie. It’s been wonderful to meet new enthusiasts at this growing event with such a diversity of cars making an appearance. If you have not been to this event and fancy meeting some new friends at this low key meet-up, then do come along.

We will remain on the 3rd Thursday lunchtime of each month until the clocks change again at the end of March.

If you would like to eat, please contact The Pear Tree direct and mention the Classic Car group and they will attempt to put us in the same area. Otherwise you can have a drink and there is a chance that you can eat in the Bar/Outside and of course you may wish to attend just to have a drink

Forthcoming dates for your diary (ALL are on Thursday at 12:30 pm):

19th January; 16th February; 16th March.

April will revert to the 3rd Wednesday evening of each month, from 6:00 pm.

Please email me if you wish at: with any questions or to add a friend. Steve Grimes
