The first thing to mention this month is the fact that our esteemed Classix Magazine editor Bob Carter, has retired from his editor role after some 17 years and 206 editions of the magazine – well done sir, now have a jolly good sit down! And we welcome Julian Barber who has taken over the role – we look forward to working with you!
May is of course, Mendip Tour month – the entry list for the event has long been full, but if you would like to come along and see 160 odd fantastic classic cars on Wells Cathedral Green on the day (14th May), then by all means do so – but remember, only event entrants can enter the closed road leading up to the green!
We’ve just enjoyed a fantastic Drive It Day event, which started at Haynes Motor Museum this year, followed by a fantastic lunch at The Crossways and a short 25 mile road run in between. There are some great pictures from the start on our Gallery Page – with a few more to follow!
