Macmillan Cancer Support, Mendip Vintage & Classic Tour Cheque Presentation 2019
After another successful Mendip Vintage & Classic Tour this year we are very pleased to say our nominated Charity ‘Macmillan Cancer Support’ have received the tremendous sum of £2514.71.
The Wells committee of Macmillan Cancer Support led by their chairman Mark Tobin raised £1114.71 from the Raffle on the day and the Classic & Historic Motor Club donated £1400.00 from the Mendip Vintage & Classic Tour.
Mark Tobin Chairman for the Wells Committee of Macmillan Cancer Support said: “We were overwhelmed at the amount raised by the Mendip Vintage & Classic Tour. The money raised will be used to help improve the lives of people suffering from cancer in Somerset. Our heartfelt thanks to the Mendip Tour Sub Committee & the Classic & Historic Motor Club for all their hard work.”
Roger Dollins Chairman of the Mendip Tour Sub Committee said: “We are delighted to have raised such a large amount for this amazing charity, the support they give to cancer patients and their families is truly wonderful. Mark and his Team are dedicated to helping create as much money as possible for the Charity and worked tirelessly throughout the day, they are a great team.
