The C&H AGM on Sunday 22nd March was a historic day for the club, with the first major change in the club rules in a generation. The C&H will now accept cars at least 25 years old, changing the previous 30 year limit that had been in place since 1995! Previous to that, the C&H only accepted cars made before “December 31st 1958”!
It is perhaps quite fitting that the change has been implemented in this, our 50th Anniversary Year! The revision of the age criteria has been much debated within the club over the last year or so, and was finally ratified at the AGM by an overwhelming majority in favour of lowering the age limit to 25 years. This change is at the forefront of a plan to see the C&H moving with the times in an effort to make the club more appealing to younger members – and this is one of the major steps down that road!
So, for 2026, we are now accepting cars from 2001!
