On Sunday 19th of July 2026, the Members of the Classic & Historic Motor Club celebrated our 50th Anniversary with a scenic drive through the stunning Somerset countryside.
After one and a half hours drive in a superb selection of Classic Cars we arrived at The Batch Country House Hotel to a fabulous selection of Canapés and Pimm’s in their beautiful gardens.
At 1pm we were called into the Somerset Suite for a sumptuous meal with drinks, tea, & coffee.
The fabulous Anniversary Cake was Cut by Ann Budd, Frances Baker & Marlene Perry-Smith.
These three ladies were original Club Members. I know, they don’t look old enough do they!
It was a Celebration to remember, delicious meal, great company, good entertainment. Meanwhile awaiting our return those stunning classic cars in the car park, paintwork, and chrome glistening in the the wonderful sunshine. A superb day enjoyed by everyone.
