The Classic & Historic Motor Club ‘Drive It Day’ will begin with breakfast at 0930 at the Woodford Lodge on the edge of Chew Valley Lake, the perfect blend of the great Woodford Lakeside Food and a fantastic vista across the Lake. We will partake in a leisurely breakfast before we depart, first car away at 1100.
From Woodford Lodge we will drive a scenic trundle through 33 miles of Somerset countryside passing down Cheddar Gorge, through Wells high Street, and towards Glastonbury where we will make a right turn to travel along the Avalon Marshes to our lunch venue, The Duck at Burtle, an award winning gastro-pub & Free House, located in Burtle, on the beautiful Somerset Levels where we will lunch @ 1230 in their private function room.
