The late John Rose, a long-term C+H member has several sheds and garages full of a life-times accumulation of ‘old toot’ or useful tools and spares, depending on how you view these things. The property is to be cleared and sold by Mathew and Jane, son and daughter of dear John.
The plan is to meet at Cross Farm, Yarley, Wells BA5 1PA at about 11.00 Saturday August the 10th to be followed by a little procession of about half a mile down the road to John’s house for a look around the outbuildings for little gems. Voluntary cash donations for a Merchant Seamans charity are invited. Lady members are most welcome, there might even be coffee and cakes at Cross Farm, so please let us know if you are planning to attend.
