Triumph Motorcyle Factory Tour
A tour of the prestigious Triumph Motorcyles factory at Hinckley Leicestershire on Saturday 27th April 2024.
There is a slight break in tradition whereby we have organised a 49 seater coach to take us to this location rather than using your classic vehicle, so you can sit back and relax whilst somebody else does the driving for you for the day! We are proposing 2 collection locations in South + North Bristol, one being the Park + Ride site on Bath Road Bristol and the other being club member Chris Jones house on the A38 Rudgeway so you have the option of both locations to choose from and whichever is most convienient to you, we will then travel to Triumph motorcycles at Hinckley to have a fully guided 90 minute tour of their factory in groups of 15 which covers all activities in the manufacturing of these motorcycles and a behind the scenes look at the production process for them, being a weekend this will be slightly quieter than a normal working day and a single ear headset is also provided, we will then have a buffet lunch before additional time to look at the Triumph exhibition which details their history and major milestones of the brand up to modern day, then a quick visit to the visitor experience shop where they have various clothing and branded products for sale before getting back on the coach for a well earned nap on our way back home.
The cost for this event is still being finialised but it is likely to be around £64 all in, but I thought I’d put this in the magazine early just to gauge interest from the membership of doing something like this, as I said previously spaces would be limited due to coach size and what Triumph themselves can manage on the day, however if it does look like we are struggling to fill the coach the intention is that this will then be opened up to friends and family of C&H members who are attending.
